In stories set in the future, I find myself taking the other side, and this one is no different.
Writing it was like playing a first-person survival game on Mars. And the co-writing structure made for twists that I had to respond to on my feet. Which made the experience intense, and life-like.
I picked up in the video games vibe too, very cool. I actually saw an 'interactive writing course' recently and was tempted. Writing for video games would be so much fun!
It was an online course. They had a bunch of people from the industry come in and speak about their experiences/learnings. It was educational. But one has to do a lot more to consider doing it professionally. They recommended writing and designing basic games to start building a portfolio.
This was right up my alley btw. Badass story. I often have dreams of being completely alone on a planet sized asteroid or in an ancient desert on some faraway planet. Call me deranged but I kinda like that Mad-Max apocalyptic vibe.
I trust Debdutta will comment soon, but in the meantime, I'll tell you I'm a big fan of this picture!

Virtual guns are everything.

Thank you! I did a writing for video games course two years ago. Nothing big, more like a intro/101 type of thing. It was really interesting.
It would be the most fun. Someday, maybe. :)
What?!! Interesting!!

Very cool. Now you need to do a coding course too. =)
I really do like bloody endings. Much more believable than Happy Ever Afters.
And I second it - the picture is fire.

Oh, that's nice to know. Thank you! Same. Very much same.
I wish the apocalypse comes tomorrow. Things will feel (relatively) normal then. 😈
That was cruel what you did to Diego, Deb. I thought you were nice. How do I report people here?
Haha, sorry. I like killing people...characters, I meant characters.
I honestly have no idea how to report people here. Which is probably a good thing. 😁
